How 4Squad Plays and Pays
Red Tiger's 4Squad plays its fantasy-adventure cast for laughs rather than menace, and it sits in the calmer middle of Here2Win Casino's pokie shelf rather than the high-swing end. Here's what the reels actually offer before you spin.
4Squad leans into a tongue-in-cheek fantasy squad instead of gods, monkeys or monsters, which is what pulled me toward it while working through the medium-volatility shelf of Here2Win Casino games. It's not the flashiest cover in the library, but the parody adventure dressing gives it a lighter, more playful feel than most of the darker high-volatility titles sitting either side of it in the catalogue.
A Fantastical, Parody Adventure Squad
The reel art leans on an exaggerated band-of-heroes cast set against a mock-epic fantasy backdrop, playing the adventure genre for a wink rather than dread. The one confirmed feature on this title is a bonus round, triggered by landing the right combination across the reels — that's what carries the pay potential beyond the base spins, so it's worth treating as the game's main event rather than a bolt-on extra.

Medium Volatility, Below the Site's Typical RTP
4Squad sits in the medium band on Here2Win's volatility scale — steadier than the high-volatility Nolimit City and Betsoft titles I've checked elsewhere on the site, without the flat, low-swing rhythm of an arcade classic either. Its 94.74% RTP is worth flagging on its own: that's below the 96.195% median across the pokies I've reviewed here, so the theoretical long-run return trails most of its stablemates even though the volatility itself feels comfortably mid-table for a session.
Who 4Squad Suits
I'd point 4Squad at a punter who wants a steady middle-of-the-road session with a bit of comic relief in the art, rather than someone chasing the biggest possible swings or the calmest possible ride. If the parody framing isn't your thing but you still want to stay in the medium band, Buffalo Rising Megaways swaps the joke for a straight animal theme and adds a reel format that changes shape between spins, alongside a bonus buy option Red Tiger hasn't given 4Squad. American Sevens goes a different way again — a classic sevens-and-fire look from Evoplay Entertainment with an in-game jackpot layered on top of its own bonus rounds, for players after a shot at that extra prize type alongside the regular pay table.
I group pokies this way — by volatility and feature rather than mood — for the same reason I explain on my About page: numbers beat vibes when you're picking where to spend a deposit.
